    • Curse Breaking Cromwell Cider - Halloweentown Cocktail

    Why this recipe works:

Halloweentown is the most wholesome Halloween movie about a witch coming of age in the cutest Halloween-themed town. This drink embodies all the Halloween cozy vibes of the movie and all the best fall flavors! It's crisp, spicy, and completely refreshing!

I am such a fan of Halloween and making festive drinks to go along with my favorite Halloween movies. Just check out these other Halloween cocktails: Hocus Pocus Drink - The Black Flame Candle, Hocus Pocus Inspired Cocktail - I Put A Spell On You, Practical Magic Midnight Margaritas, and Haunted Halloween Punch.

Ingredients for the cocktail on a brown stone background.

    Key Ingredients:

Bourbon: This is a bourbon-based cocktail, and the bourbon flavor comes through, so using a top-shelf, and high-quality bourbon is key to a delicious-tasting drink. You can use any bourbon you like! I used Old Forester 1910 in this cocktail, but Willett or Angels Envy would also be good with these flavors.

Hard Apple Cider: this carbonated fermented apple drink is one of my favorite fall staples. It is so crisp and refreshing! Use your favorite brand, my goto is Strongbow.

Apple Butter: apple butter is made by cooking down apples in spices and a little sweetener. For this recipe, I use this bourbon apple butter which is made with apple cider, bourbon, brown sugar, and maple syrup but store-bought apple butter works as well!

Gold Cocktail Glitter: This is what gives the drink its magical effect. I used Fancy Sprinkles Fools Gold Edible Glitter.

    See recipe card for quantities.

    How to make this recipe:

Bourbon and apple butter in a mixing glass.

Add the bourbon and apple butter to a mixing glass and stir until the butter combines with the butter.

The bourbon mixture in a pumkin shaped glass with a large circle ice cube.

Pour into a glass with ice.

Hard cider being poured into the pumpkin glass.

    Top with hard cider.

The cocktail garnished with apple, cinnamon, and gold glitter.

Dust with gold glitter and garnish with apples and cinnamon.

    About Pate

Hi! I'm Pate, the blogger, recipe developer, and photographer behind The G&M Kitchen!

Raised in the heart of Kentucky, I come from a long line of passionate cooks and bakers. The kitchen was always the heart of our home, where we transformed vegetables into delightful dishes and crafted pies and cakes that emerged from the oven. This tradition of coming together through food and cooking inspired the name of my blog, The G&M Kitchen – 'G' for my father's family, the Giltners, and 'M' for my mother's family, the Millers.

I also believe if a recipe is missing something, it's probably bourbon.
