Ingredients for the punch on a spider web lined table.

    Key Ingredients:

Prosecco: this cocktail's base is a bubbly Prosecco! Use any bubbles you like; champagne or cava would be equally delicious.

Pomegranate Juice: pomegranate juice is fruity, tart, and a little bit earthy and is the perfect seasonal fruit juice for a spooky fall cocktail. Be sure to buy 100% pure pomegranate juice with no added sugars.

Cinnamon Simple Syrup: this recipe calls for homemade cinnamon syrup. It is incredibly easy to make and provides a lot of warm autumnal flavor to the punch!

Cotton Candy: cotton candy adds a little extra sweetness and a lot of fun Halloween flare! Pick a flavor that pairs well with this recipe; I used cherry from Target.

    See recipe card for quantities.

    How to make this recipe:

Pomegranate juice being added to a silver punch bowl filled with large cubes iced.

Step 1: Start by adding ice, pomegranate juice, and Cointreau to a punch bowl.

Cinnamon sticks and syrup sitting on top of the pomegranate juice.

Step 2: Add in the cinnamon syrup, including the cinnamon sticks and star anise.

Prosecco being poured into the punch bowl.

Step 3: Top with Prosecco and add orange slices, cinnamon sticks, and pomegranate seeds.

Skull hand wine glass filled with pink cotton candy and garnished with fake spider.

Step 4: Fill glasses with cotton candy and sanitized spiders.

Punch being poured over the cotton candy.

Step 5: Pour the punch over the cotton candy.

Overhead shot of wine glass filled with punch and garnished with oranges, cinnamon sticks, and star anise.

Step 6: Garnish with orange slices and cinnamon sticks.

    Tips for success:

    • For an extra eerie touch, consider using dry ice (handled with care) to create a smoky effect that adds drama to your Halloween punch.
    • Use large ice cubes so that the punch will stay chilled but not dilute the cocktail as quickly as smaller cubes.
    • Garnish with fun Halloween props! Plastic eyeballs, spiders, and skulls are all great additions. Just remember to clean anything you are adding to the drink thoroughly!
    • This punch serves 5, but you could easily make it for a larger group by doubling it to the following measurements.
      • 2 bottles Prosecco
      • 1 ½ cups pomegranate juice
      • ¼ cup Cointreau
      • 1 cup cinnamon simple syrup (double syrup recipe)
Overhead shot of wine glass filled with punch and garnished with oranges, cinnamon sticks, and star anise.

    About Pate

Hi! I'm Pate, the blogger, recipe developer, and photographer behind The G&M Kitchen!

Raised in the heart of Kentucky, I come from a long line of passionate cooks and bakers. The kitchen was always the heart of our home, where we transformed vegetables into delightful dishes and crafted pies and cakes that emerged from the oven. This tradition of coming together through food and cooking inspired the name of my blog, The G&M Kitchen – 'G' for my father's family, the Giltners, and 'M' for my mother's family, the Millers.

I also believe if a recipe is missing something, it's probably bourbon.
