This festive fall harvest bourbon pumpkin punch is the perfect Halloween or autumn drink for a crowd! Whether you're using a punch bowl or a pitcher, you can serve up plenty of pumpkin spice flavor this season.

It's brimming with all the finest fall flavors, such as apple cider, pumpkin butter, bourbon, and ginger beer. It's not overly sweet but bursting with an abundance of flavor.

Two pumpkin glasses and a pumpkin punch bowl filled with pumpkin punch on a black tile table.

I love a festive punch; my other favorite is this Apple Cider Bourbon Prosecco Punch, but this pumpkin version is perfect for pumpkin spice lovers. The pumpkin butter adds so much pumpkin flavor and has loads of spices already mixed in. This punch is perfect for any fall gathering or for a Halloween party! And if you are looking for Halloween punch recipes, check out this Haunted Halloween Punch.

    Why I Love This Recipe:

    1. It's made with spiced pumpkin butter, which imparts a rich pumpkin spice flavor.
    2. It's easy! No complicated or advanced steps are required to make this crowd-pleasing punch.
    3. Perfect for parties and family get-togethers! This recipe yields six drinks but can easily be doubled or tripled to serve a large crowd.

The ingredients for the punch sitting on a black tile table.

    Key Ingredients:

    • Pumpkin Butter: I adore pumpkin butter because it's pumpkin that has been cooked down with sugar and spices. This makes it perfect for this punch since it's already sweetened and spiced, requiring only minimal additional flavoring.
    • Apple Cider: Apple cider serves as an excellent base for punches due to its mild flavor, which complements other autumn flavors beautifully.
    • Bourbon: This cocktail is bourbon-based, and the bourbon flavor is prominent. Using a top-shelf, high-quality bourbon is essential for a delicious-tasting drink. You can use any bourbon you prefer! I used Castle and Key for this recipe, but Old Forester 1910, Woodford Reserve, or Angels Envy would also pair well with these flavors.
    • Ginger Beer: The ginger beer adds a slight kick and carbonation to the punch, giving it a delightful bubbly texture.
    • Orange Juice: A touch of orange juice brightens up the mixture and adds a citrusy note.

    See recipe card for quantities.

    How to Make This Recipe:

The pumpkin butter, maple syrup, water, and cinnamon in a small white pot.

Step 1: Combine the pumpkin butter with water, maple syrup, and cinnamon sticks in a small saucepan until the cinnamon infuses the mixture.

Ginger beer being poured into the punch bowl. The bowl is sitting on a wood cake stand against a black marble background.

Step 2: Transfer the pumpkin mixture to a pitcher or punch bowl filled with ice. Add apple cider, bourbon, ginger beer, and orange juice.

The punch bowl has been filled and apple slices and cinnamon sticks have been added.

Step 3: Stir and optionally garnish with apple slices, cinnamon sticks, rosemary, cranberries, or orange slices.

Two pumpkin shaped glassed have been filled with the punch and garnished with cinnamon, rosemary, and star anise.

Step 4: Pour into glasses filled with ice.

    FAQ

Can you use pumpkin puree instead of pumpkin butter?

Yes! Just add a couple of teaspoons of pumpkin spice and ¼ cup of sugar to the puree-water mixture.

Can you make this ahead of time?

Yes! Prepare it several hours in advance and store it in the fridge until ready to serve.

Can you make this punch non-alcoholic?

Absolutely! Omit the bourbon and replace it with sparkling water.

Hi! I'm Pate, the blogger, recipe developer, and photographer behind The G&M Kitchen!

Raised in the heart of Kentucky, I come from a long line of passionate cooks and bakers. The kitchen was always the heart of our home, where we transformed vegetables into delightful dishes and crafted pies and cakes that emerged from the oven. This tradition of coming together through food and cooking inspired the name of my blog, The G&M Kitchen – 'G' for my father's family, the Giltners, and 'M' for my mother's family, the Millers.

I also believe if a recipe is missing something, it's probably bourbon.
