This Strawberry Lone Ranger is a refreshing summer cocktail that combines fresh strawberries, lemon juice, tequila, and sparkling rosé. It's the perfect summer spritz for tequila and rosé lovers!

I love summer spritzes, especially ones that are light and not too sweet. This light and airy grapefruit Aperol spritz and this elderflower st germain spritz are more my favorites!

    Key Ingredients

The ingredients for the strawberry Lone Ranger on a brown stone table.
    • Fresh Strawberries: 2 fresh strawberries are muddled with the simple syrup for a really fresh-tasting strawberry mixture.
    • Simple Syrup: simple syrup is 1 part sugar to 1 part water heated until all the sugar has dissolved; I typically make it with 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water.
    • Lemon Juice: freshly squeezed lemon juice is a must!
    • Tequila: Blanco Tequila is the heavy spirit for this cocktail; my two favorites are Casamigos and Herradura.
    • Brut Rosé: the finished cocktail is topped with sparkling rosé for a really refreshing spritz!

    See recipe card for quantities.

    How to make this recipe:

Muddled strawberries and simple syrup in a small glass with a muddler.

Step 1: Muddle 2 medium strawberries with 1 ounce of simple syrup.

Close up shot of the strawberry mixture sitting on top of ice in a glass.

Step 2: Add ice to a large glass, then top with 1 ounce of lemon juice, the strawberry mixture, and 1 ½ ounces of tequila.

Sparkling rose is being poured over the the ice in the glass.

Step 3: Top with 2-3 ounces of Brut Rosé. Stir to combine.

The finished cocktail garnished with mint, strawberry slices, and a lemon slice.

Step 4: Garnish with lemon and a strawberry.

    .

    EXPERT TIPS:

    • Suggested Barware: Use a jigger to measure your syrup, lemon juice, and tequila accurately.
    • You can use a wooden spoon to smash the fruit if you don't have a muddler.
    • Make sure you thoroughly muddle the strawberries and syrup so that they are almost all liquid before adding to the glass.

    About Pate

Hi! I'm Pate, the blogger, recipe developer, and photographer behind The G&M Kitchen!

Raised in the heart of Kentucky, I come from a long line of passionate cooks and bakers. The kitchen was always the heart of our home, where we transformed vegetables into delightful dishes and crafted pies and cakes that emerged from the oven. This tradition of coming together through food and cooking inspired the name of my blog, The G&M Kitchen – 'G' for my father's family, the Giltners, and 'M' for my mother's family, the Millers.

I also believe if a recipe is missing something, it's probably bourbon.
