This is such a refreshing Elderflower Margarita (St Germain Margarita)! It combines the sweet and floral St Germain liqueur with tequila and fresh lime juice! It's perfect for when you want an elevated and sophisticated twist on a margarita!

St Germain is the best liqueur; it's sweet, floral, and understated. It's perfectly complemented by lime juice, making amazing margarita fule!

Why you will love this recipe:

This is the perfect cocktail when you want a sweet, refreshing, floral, and elevated margarita! This cocktail has the perfect balance of tequila, lime juice, and liqueur!

This is also the perfect cocktail for you if you are a devoted fan of St Germain. I love how mild this liqueur is; it is subtly floral and makes me feel so fancy. It also has citrus notes, which come alive with lime juice. This St Germain Spritz is also so delicious!

Ingredients for an elderflower margarita on a green tile table.

    Key Ingredients:

St-Germain: St Germain is a french elderflower liqueur that is sweet and floral, with slight citrus notes. It's perfect in cocktails and is so refreshing when paired with lime juice.

Blanco Tequila: the trick to a good margarita is good ingredients, so use good tequila- my favorites are Casamigos and Espolòn's Blanco. But here is a great list if you want more recommendations. Bonus points if you get one with notes of citrus.

Lime Juice: Lime Juice: no margarita is complete without lime juice and the lime brings out the citrus notes in the St Germain.

Garnishes: I garnish with salt, fresh cucumber, lime slices, and fresh mint.

    How to make this recipe:

This is so easy to make!

    1. Add ice to a cocktail shaker.
    2. Add in the tequila, St Germain, lime juice, and agave.
    3. Shake for 10 seconds, then strain over ice into a salted glass.
    4. Garnish with mint and cucumber.

    Tips and tricks for success:

    • Use a lime wedge to rim the edge of the glass and then roll the lime-soaked rim in salt. Use sea salt flakes for a more dramatic effect.

Is that 1/2oz agave or 1/2 agave…meaning just to taste?
