    🥘 Key Ingredients:

    • Bourbon: Go with a smooth, full-bodied bourbon like Woodford Reserve or Buffalo Trace for depth.
    • Lemon Juice: Fresh-squeezed for brightness and balance.
    • Rosemary Cinnamon Simple Syrup: Simmered with brown sugar, rosemary, and cinnamon—worth the effort.
    • Ollipop Apple Crisp Soda: Bubbly and lightly sweet, it delivers classic fall flavor without being overpowering.

🥂 How to make this cocktail:

The rosemary simple syrup in a clear pot on a pink marble slab.
    1. Step 1: Start by making the cinnamon rosemary syrup: 1 cup water, 1 cup light brown sugar, 3 rosemary sprigs, 3 cinnamon sticks. Simmer all ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and let steep for 10–15 minutes. Strain and let cool completely before using.
The bourbon lemon juice and syrup in a large rocks glass with a stag head handle.
    1. Step 2: Then add 2 ounces of bourbon, juice from ½ lemon, and ¼-1/2 ounce of the simple syrup to a large rocks or Collins glass filled with ice.

    Expert Tips:

Customize your sweetness: Use more or less syrup depending on your taste.

Prep the syrup ahead: It keeps for up to 2 weeks in the fridge—perfect for fall entertaining.

Garnish thoughtfully: A cinnamon stick adds cozy aroma and a polished fall look.

    About Pate

Hi! I'm Pate, the blogger, recipe developer, and photographer behind The G&M Kitchen!

Raised in the heart of Kentucky, I come from a long line of passionate cooks and bakers. The kitchen was always the heart of our home, where we transformed vegetables into delightful dishes and crafted pies and cakes that emerged from the oven. This tradition of coming together through food and cooking inspired the name of my blog, The G&M Kitchen – 'G' for my father's family, the Giltners, and 'M' for my mother's family, the Millers.

I also believe if a recipe is missing something, it's probably bourbon.
