Description

This pumpkin spice espresso martini is the perfect fall twist on the classic cocktail! It matches pumpkin butter with bourbon, baileys, and espresso for such a delightful fall treat. Bourbon and pumpkin are an ideal match, so this version switches the vodka out for bourbon whiskey and Kahlua out for baileys, a whiskey-based liqueur.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 1/2 ounces bourbon
  • 1/2 ounce Baileys
  • 1 Shot espresso (aprox 1 1/2 ounces)
  • 1 tablespoon pumkin butter

Instructions

  1. Start by brewing 1 shot of espresso (aprox. 1 1/2 ounces)
  2. Add ice, 1 1/2 ounces bourbon, and 1 tablespoon pumpkin butter to a cocktail shaker.
  3. Top with 1/2 ounce baileys and the shot of espresso.
  4. Shake for 30 seconds, pour into a coupe glass, and garnish with a dusting of cinnamon and 3 espresso beans.

Notes

The pumpkin butter can make this cocktail a little grainy, if you you prefer a smoother drink use 1 ounce of the pumpkin spice syrup from this pumpkin spice old fashioned. However the pumpkin flavor is much more noticeable with the pumpkin butter.
