- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Then cream together the butter and the two sugars in with a mixer until fluffy and well mixed.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla and mix until combined.
- Add the flour and salt and mix until just combined.
- Finally, mix in the chocolate chips and until evenly dispersed.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and chill the dough for at least 30 minutes.
- Using a tablespoon scoop out cookie dough and roll into about 1 inch balls and place onto two baking sheets and bake for 15-18 minutes or until the edges are browned.
