- 1 cup freshly grated parmesan
- 1 ounce bread and butter pickle brine + bread and butter pickles
- 2 ounces gin
- 1/2 ounce dry vermouth - just enough to coat the glass
Instructions
- Start by making the parmesan crisps. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees, and spoon about 1 1/2 tablespoons of parmesan cheese onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Spread the cheese into a 2-inch circle and top with a pickle slice; repeat for a number of desired crisps.
- Cook for 5-7 minutes; mine were perfect at about 6 1/2 minutes.
- Next make the cocktail by adding 2 ounces of gin, 1 ounce of bread and butter pickle brine, and 1/4 ounce of parmesan cheese to a cocktail shaker with ice, and shake for 30 seconds.
- Pour just enough dry vermouth to coat the glass into a chilled glass swirl and toss.
- Then double strain the shaken martini into the glass.
- Next, grate fresh parmesan over the drink until it's completely covered.
- Garnish with your crisp, and enjoy!
