Description

This parmesan and pickle martini is the perfect sweet and salty martini for sweet pickle lovers, and it comes with a delicious parmesan pickle crisp garnish!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 cup freshly grated parmesan
  • 1 ounce bread and butter pickle brine + bread and butter pickles
  • 2 ounces gin
  • 1/2 ounce dry vermouth - just enough to coat the glass

Instructions

  1. Start by making the parmesan crisps. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees, and spoon about 1 1/2 tablespoons of parmesan cheese onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  2. Spread the cheese into a 2-inch circle and top with a pickle slice; repeat for a number of desired crisps.
  3. Cook for 5-7 minutes; mine were perfect at about 6 1/2 minutes.
  4. Next make the cocktail by adding 2 ounces of gin, 1 ounce of bread and butter pickle brine, and 1/4 ounce of parmesan cheese to a cocktail shaker with ice, and shake for 30 seconds.
  5. Pour just enough dry vermouth to coat the glass into a chilled glass swirl and toss.
  6. Then double strain the shaken martini into the glass.
  7. Next, grate fresh parmesan over the drink until it's completely covered.
  8. Garnish with your crisp, and enjoy!
