Description
This syrup is the perfect way to make a Mint Julep, mojito, or any other drink that could use a bit of sweet fresh mint flavor.

- 1 cup water
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 bunch of fresh mint (about 1/3 cup)
Instructions
- Remove the mint leaves from their stems and add them, sugar, and water to a small saucepan.
- Simmer but don't boil the mixture until all the sugar has dissolved and the mint has darkened.
- Let the mixture cool to room temperature, and then strain the mint.
- Transfer the syrup to an airtight container and chill or serve!
