Homemade blackberry simple syrup is the perfect way to flavor cocktails, lemonadesor any drink if you want to add a little blackberry flavor! It's just three ingredients and is ready in about 30 minutes!

Units Scale
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • Scant 2 cups blackberries

  1. Add the blackberries, sugar, and water to a small saucepan.
  2. Simmer but don't boil the mixture until all the sugar has dissolved and the blackberries have lost their shape.
  3. Let the mixture cool to room temperature, and then strain the strawberries.
  4. Transfer the syrup to an airtight container and chill or serve!
