Description

This Bisquick Blueberry cobbler is made with sweet honey and cream drop biscuits and fresh blueberries seasoned with lemon and cinnamon.

For the berry mixture

  • 3 cups blueberries
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 almond
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 lemon juice and zest
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup sugar

For the drop biscuits 


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. 
  2. Make the berry mixture by combining the blueberries with lemon juice, zest, sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, and extracts. Set the mixture aside. 
  3. Next, make the drop biscuits but combining the Bisquick, lemon zest, sugar, honey, and cream. Stir until a dough forms. 
  4. Transfer the berries to a 1.8-2 quart baking dish and then scoop the dough on top of the berries. 
  5. Brush with melted butter and bake for 50 minutes.
