Description

There's nothing quite like warming up with a mug of Apple Cider Hot Buttered Bourbon in the wintertime! This perfectly cozy cocktail combines bourbon and hot apple cider with an apple spiced butter batter


Ingredients

For the batter:

  • 1/2 cup salted butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground clove
  • 1/4 ground nutmeg
  • 1 1/2 tsp allspice

For the cocktail:

  • 1 1/2 -2 tablespoons spiced butter
  • 2 ounces bourbon
  • 1 cup very hot apple cider

Instructions

  1. Start by making the batter. Beat the butter, spices, sugar, vanilla, and spices together until well blended and fluffy. 
  2. Then start boiling your apple cider.
  3. Add 1 ½ -2 tablespoons batter to a heat-proof glass.
  4. Top with the hot apple cider and stir until the butter has melted.
  5. Garnish with a cinnamon stick, orange, or apple slice.
