Ingredients
Cocktail
- 1 1/2 ounces Bourbon
- 1 oz cinnamon simple syrup
- 2 oz pure cranberry juice (no sugar added and no cranberry cocktail)
- 1 dash of orange bitters
Cinnamon Simple Syrup:
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- About 8 cinnamon sticks
Instructions
- Make the cinnamon syrup by combining the sugar, water, and cinnamon sticks in a small pot and heat on medium until the sugar has melted. Set aside and let cool, then strain.
- Add a large ice cube to an old fashioned glass and top with the bourbon.
- Pour in the cranberry juice and cinnamon syrup.
- Add the orange bitters, garnish, and serve.
Notes
- Do not let the simple syrup come to a boil, but gently cook
