Description

This rose and elderflower gin and tonic is a Spanish-style gin and tonic, where the drink is layered with herbs, botanicals, and bitters, and it is quickly becoming one of my favorite styles of drinks! This version combines rose tea, cucumbers, gin, elderflower tonic, and rhubarb bitters, and it's perfectly floral and refreshing. 


Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons rose tea
  • 5-7 slices of Persian cucumber
  • 2 ounces gin
  • 4-5 ounces elderflower tonic water
  • 2-3 dashes rhubarb bitters

Instructions

  1. Add 2 tablespoons of rose tea to a gin and tonic glass and top with 2 ounces of gin.
  2. Top with 5-7 slices of the cucumber. 
  3. Add ice to the glass and stir.
  4. Add 4-5 ounces of tonic water.
  5. Finish with 2-3 dashes of rhubarb bitters, and stir again.
