Ingredients
Pumpkin chai syrup
- 1 cup water
- 3 chai tea bags
- 1 cup pumpkin
- 1/ cup brown sugar
Cocktail:
- 1 ounce pumkin chai syrup
- 1/2 ounce Baileys
- 2 ounces bourbon
- 2 dashes angostura bitters
Instructions
- Start by making the syrup by combining 1 cup pumpkin, 1 cup brown sugar, 1 cup water, and 3 chai tea bags in a small sauce pan. Cook until all the sugar has melted and the tea has been infused into the syrup. Let cool.
- Next add ice to a mixing glass and top with 1 ounce of the pumpkin syrup, 1/2 ounce baileys, 2 ounces bourbon, and 2 dashes of angostura bitters.
- Stir and pour into a martini or coupe glass.
- Garnish with star anise and edible glitter (optional).
