Description

This lavender Earl Grey old fashioned balances bourbon, freshly brewed Earl Grey tea, lavender syrup, and lemon bitters.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 ounces bourbon
  • 1/2 ounce lavender syrup
  • 1 1/2 ounce brewed Earl Grey tea (1 tea bag and 1 cup boiling water)
  • 2-3 drops lemon bitters

Instructions

  1. Start by brewing the tea. For a strong flavor, I added 1 tea bag to 1 cup of boiling water and let it brew infuse for 5 minutes.
  2. Add ice to a rocks glass and top with 1 1/2 ounce bourbon and 1/2 ounce lavender syrup.
  3. Then add 1 1/2 ounce cooled tea and 2-3 drops of lemon bitters.
  4. Garnish with a lemon slice and lavender.
