Ingredients
For the syrup:
- 1 cup hot honey
- 1 cup water
- 5 cinnamon sticks
- 1/2 tsp allspice
For the cocktail:
- 2 ounces bourbon
- 1 1/2 fresh/no sugar added cranberry juice
- 1/2 ounce lime juice
- 1 ounce hot honey syrup
- 2 ounces ginger beer
Instructions
- Start by making the spiced hot honey syrup by adding 1 cup hot honey, 1 cup water, 5 cinnamon sticks, and 1/2 tsp allspice to a small pot. Heat until the honey has loosened (5-10 minutes), then set aside and let cool. Strain.
- To a shaker filled with ice, add 2 ounces of bourbon, 1 1/2 ounces of fresh cranberry juice, 1/2 ounce of lime juice, and 1 ounce of spiced hot honey syrup. Shake well to combine.
- Pour into a copper cup with ice.
- Top with 2 ounces of ginger beer and stir.
