Buttered Popcorn and Raisinet Cookies

  1. 1 bag of microwave buttered popcorn
  2. 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  3. 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  4. 1 large egg
  5. 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  6. 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  7. 1 cup all-purpose flour
  8. 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  9. 1/4 teaspoon salt
  10. 3/4 cup raisnests 
  11. sea salt for spinkling 

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. While the oven is heating pop the bag of popcorn in the microwave.
  3. Then cream together the butter and the two sugars in with a mixer until fluffy and well mixed.
  4. Beat in the egg and vanilla and mix until combined.
  5. Add the flour,baking soda, and salt and mix until just combined.
  6. Then fold in 1/2 the bag of popcorn (should be about 4 cups) until well dispersed.
  7. Finally, add the raisinets and until evenly dispersed.
  8. Using a tablespoon scoop out cookie dough onto two baking sheets. Sprinkle with sea salt and bake for 13 minutes.
