BLACKBERRY  PIE

Start by gathering your ingredients for the pie crust! flour, butter, bourbon, water, sugar. Then mix the dry ingredients, cut in the butter, then add the liquids. Place in plastic wrap and let chill 1 hour.

Next, make the filling by mixing the blackberries with the sugar, allspice, lemon juice, cornstarch, and bourbon.

The cut the pastry in half and roll out the two half until the are about 10-12 inches wide.

Add one of the rolled out pie crust to a pie pan and add in the blackberries.

Cut the pastry into 2 inch strips and weave on top of the pie.

Bake for 45 minutes and enjoy!
